Alongside the UK's Newton Fellowship and Germany's Humboldt Fellowship, it is ranked as one of Europe's three most prestigious talent programs. It aims to support the world's most promising young scholars in conducting cutting-edge research. As one of the three pillars of the EU's flagship research and innovation program,Horizon Europe, the MSCA represents not only one of the EU's highest individual research grants for young scholars but also signifies broad international academic recognition of a researcher's exceptional academic potential.

Dr. Shen Yigang is one of the outstanding research talents recently recruited by the School of Engineering. He currently conducts research in the Precision Machinery and Intelligent Structures Research Center within Professor Wen Jianming's research group. Specializing in micro/nano-manufacturing and biodetection, Dr. Shen has secured multiple research project grants from national, provincial, and municipal sources. He has also published several papers as first author or corresponding author in high-impact journals such asLab on a Chip,Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, andMatter.

The School of Engineering at Zhejiang Normal University has consistently fostered an excellent environment for talent cultivation and scientific research. It has established a high-caliber, internationalized talent team with a well-structured hierarchy, distinctive characteristics, and a focus on new quality productive forces. The successful approval of this Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) project is a strong testament to the academic caliber and international competitiveness of the School's researchers.Moving forward, the School of Engineering will continue to actively encourage and support young researchers in applying for high-level research projects. It aims to drive academic innovation and technological advancement, striving to make new and greater contributions towards establishing the region as a national innovation hub and a key center for talent, thereby empowering high-quality socioeconomic development in the area.
